Mediprime is a private radiology clinic in Kaunas, Lithuania, at V. Krėvės pr. 119. Every scan is done by the radiologist Dr Povilas Žudys himself, who explains the results straight after the scan.
You do not need a referral or Lithuanian health insurance: you pay at the clinic, 80 € for any area, by cash or card, and get a written report with your scan images by email. We are open on Saturdays and until late in the evening.

How much does an ultrasound scan cost?
Every ultrasound scan costs the same, 80 €. The price includes the scan by the radiologist, a talk through the results and a written report with the scan images. You pay at the clinic, by cash or card.
Do I need a referral or Lithuanian health insurance?
No. This is a private, paid scan, so you can book without a referral and without Lithuanian health insurance. If you have a referral from your doctor, bring it along: it helps the radiologist understand the reason for the scan.
Does the doctor speak English?
Yes. Dr Žudys speaks English very well, so you can ask your questions and have the results explained to you in English during the visit.
Will I get the report in English?
The doctor talks you through the results in English during the visit. The written report is prepared in Lithuanian, as Lithuanian medical records require, and comes with your scan images by email.
Which scans do you do?
Ultrasound of every body area except the heart and pregnancy scans: joints and muscles, abdomen, thyroid and neck, breasts, blood vessels, soft tissue, nerves, infant hips and infant head ultrasound.

Mediprime clinic is at V. Krėvės pr. 119, Kaunas, Lithuania. You can park right by the entrance.
Can I have a scan in the evening or on a Saturday?
Yes. We are open on weekdays and on Saturdays until late in the evening, so you don't need to take time off. You will find the exact opening hours on the contact page.
How do I prepare?
Most scans need no preparation. Before an abdominal scan, don't eat for 6 hours. Kidney, bladder and prostate scans need a full bladder. The exact instructions are on each scan's page and in your confirmation.
How do I cancel or change my visit?
Your confirmation has a link to cancel the visit. To change the time, cancel and book again, or call the clinic.
