Radiologist Dr Povilas Žudys performs a wide range of ultrasound scans with a strong focus on quality and precision. Every patient is listened to, results are explained, and where needed he advises on the next steps. He speaks English very well, so the whole visit can be in English.
In my daily work I focus on the patient's problem and how to solve it in each individual case: I advise on what to do next and which treatment or follow-up to choose. I learn from leading specialists abroad, from the latest publications, online and at conferences. The priority of every consultation is to answer all of the patient's questions.
What the doctor scans
Ultrasound of every body area except the heart and pregnancy scans:
- joints, muscles and tendons;
- abdomen (liver, gallbladder, pancreas, spleen, kidneys), bladder and prostate;
- thyroid, neck soft tissue, lymph nodes and salivary glands;
- breasts and breast implants;
- blood vessels (neck, legs and arms);
- skin and under-skin lumps, hernias and peripheral nerves;
- infant hips and infant head ultrasound (neurosonography).
Education
- 2022 Lithuanian University of Health Sciences (LSMU) – specialist qualification in radiology.
- 2017 Lithuanian University of Health Sciences (LSMU) – medical doctor qualification.
